Rooms can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of arrival. In case the room is occupied earlier, the hotel is entitled to extra charges determined in the contract. The fee that has to be paid for early check-in and late check-out is EUR 50. Guests get a room card as a room key, for which the registration of the guest(s) staying in the room is required. Registration is complete if the registration form is filled in and the identity of the guest is confirmed. Presenting a personal identification document (passport or ID card) is an essential term of the contract for the hotel. In the case of citizens from countries outside the European Union (non-EU citizens), presenting and handing over a valid passport is obligatory under the legislation. On the day of departure, guests are required to leave their rooms with their luggage until 11:00, and they also have to return the room card received upon arrival at the front desk. In case the room is left later, the hotel is entitled to extra charges determined in the contract. Guests are required to settle the amount of their stay in the hotel by the means determined in the contract at the latest when they check out and leave the hotel. Should the guest refuse to pay for any reasons, the hotel has the right to withhold the articles the guest has taken into the hotel and is entitled to mortgage enforcement. Should the guest leave the hotel without paying, the hotel will file a police report and pursue its claim through legal processes, the costs of which will be imposed on the guest. The amounts which may arise subsequently and have not been settled, will be charged on the credit card of the guest.

The hotel operates cameras in the building and its outer area, which take photographs 24 hours a day continuously.

Our guests can charge their consumption in the catering units of the hotel to their rooms. You only need to sign the receipt issued by the unit, and we will store and retain it at the front desk until your departure. It is very important never to mention your room number and your family name at the same time in community spaces or open spaces in order to avoid possible damage! Upon departure you can settle your room bill at the front desk, and you can choose from different payment options. The payment options are cash, credit card and SZÉP card. Our hotel accepts the following types of credit cards: Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB and Maestro. You can also use your SZÉP card for payment, our hotel accepts the cards issued by OTP, MKB and K&H bank, as well.

Pets can be brought in Alice Hotel at the guests’ own risk only, therefore guests shall take full responsibility for the potential damage caused by their pets, and they shall compensate the hotel for the damage caused. An extra charge of EUR 30 / pet / night shall be paid for accommodating a pet.

In case you are expecting a letter or a package, we will take care of it instead of you and deliver it to your room without delay. The front desk is not obliged to take over damaged packages, and the hotel assumes no responsibility for these packages. Leave your outgoing messages at the front desk, we are pleased to be at your disposal. Please note that an extra charge shall be paid for the transfer of outgoing messages. List of prohibited articles / substances that cannot be brought in the territory of the hotel:

• Substances classified as corrosive, flammable chemicals by the legislation in force,
• substances classified as flammable and / or explosive by the legislation in force,
• food / drink (including alcoholic beverages) not purchased on the territory of the hotel,
• particularly high-value, expensive valuables, objects of historic interest,
• fireworks, firecrackers and their parts and components,
• waste, substances harmful to the environment and human health,
• psychotropic substance.

Following the prior written request of the guests, the hotel may authorise in writing that the guests take the prohibited article(s) in the territory of the hotel.
